Memorial Day 110

...nope, not an auto race or the top 110 classic rock tunes. Just 110 flawless rounds through my CZ RAMI BD :-) I believe I'm at over 1100 rounds now without any sort of problem. Today I ran 10 Federal 124gr HST, 50 Winchester 124gr FMJ NATO and 50 Fiocchi 115gr FMJ (flamethrowers), the box says 1200fps, wow what a flash! All the ammo was through one 10 round magazine. The first round of each mag DA to the head and everything else SA to the body. The far right misses to the head were the first HST and one of the Fiocchi rounds. I guess that'll give me something to work on.
...this is a fine little pistol, target was at 7 yards.

Looks like a great range day. Nice shootin'. I was afraid the club range would be really busy today so I'm planning on a range trip for Wens. My club is pretty slow on mid-week mornings... usually have the place to myself.

...Amen Paul, I've got to leave for Sarasota in the morning so I needed to strike while the iron was hot as it were. I also typically try to go at off times, it's easier to focus. My range has 6 handgun lanes, within each shooting area you're more or less protected. Today there was a younger guy shooting on lane 6 and a couple on lane 5. When I checked in I smiled at the manager and nodded towards "that one",,, lane 1 :-)
The solo guy seemed to be firing at a controlled pace and hitting fairly well. The couple, well the girl, not so much. Just blasting, fast like in a movie, she was hitting the ceiling!!! Dust from the errant hits falling on the floor...
...needless to say if I see them there again I'll head into the rifle area or anywhere she's not :-)
