Thanks for helping me fund my next firearm

Without realizing it two very good members here cleaned me out of .45s. Yes, I'm that dorky.

Normally not a big deal until you look at the .45 ammo stash. Then you realize this is a big deal.

So I had to remedy that situation. Nothing against Kimber and I'll have another. I just want to experience other brands which is what got me to the selling part of my gun-fun.

So here's what took the place of them...

Ruger SR1911 Night Watchman Commander.

I plan to tear it apart and thoroughly clean and lube and then hopefully get to the range on Friday to start the break in.

Again, a big thanks to Arland and Les!

I'm just trying to be a Blessing!! lol

I've looked at the Ruger Commander's several times, I like the stainless ones. Fine looking pistol for moderate dollar amount. I think you'll like it.

Just in messing with it, it's very solid, no rattles or funny business. Mags load well and slide in and out of the well with ease.

All in all before shooting it, it's a winner.

Love the night sights, too!

I have a Ruger Lightweight Commander in 45 and based on my experience, you're going to love it. It is solid, shoots well and handles well. Nice looking too!

Thanks, Harold. Good to know. Yours is sharp. Digging the two-tone. Works well with the matching trigger.
