I am in love 😍

I took my Mammoth Ivory grips with the Colt 9 mm Defender between them to the range today. The grips performed flawlessly as they didn't jump around in my hand and cause me to have to re-grip after every shot. They held firm in my grasp as I did multiple double taps on a now dead target. Much better control than when they sandwiched the 45 Colt defender. Can't wait till I get the Celtic grip screws that Phil ordered for me. Should definitely add to the cool factor.
The owner came walking through the range and stopped and looked at my target which had a fist size hole in the center of the chest and commented " Man, that gun's a shooter". I told him "thanks I was just trying out a new set of grips". He was more impressed with those.
Oh, and the Defender ran perfectly.

Ok, so mammoth grips can't be cheap. So if you're going to throw down for that, you might as well go the extra mile to dress yourself in a matching ensemble.

I was searching the Mammoth Mountain Store for cool t-shirts, of which they have a bunch. But then I found this one.

The mammoth "activity" depicted on Rusty's shirt could be laser etched on the grips. Now THAT would be a BBQ conversation starter.

Iím starting to think that this whole how you hold the gun thing might be applicable if a grip can lead to the gun jumping around in your hand.

Grips don't make the gun 'jump around in your hand', recoil does. However, the texture of grips can make a difference with slippage in the hand, just like tires on your car when they are new versus worn and bald. The effect is even more pronounced when the hands are sweaty or wet, just like a wet road.
