Favorite range gun

Well, we talked about favorite calibers, favorite carry guns, favorite nightstand guns, your most reliable gun and your prettiest BBQ guns.

Which begs the question: what handgun in your arsenal is the most comfortable, accurate and fun to shoot at the range?

Pics are not mandatory but appreciated.

Fun? Range? Eww.

The only time I go to the range is to qualify or to test out a gun I've just worked on.

I have a couple of guns that easily meet those specs. If I had to chose one I guess I'd go with my Super Carry Pro.

My Dan Wesson eco 9mm. Was at the range yesterday and every shot was in a 4 inch circle at 50 feet. Not great but this is the easiest gun for me to shoot.

My favorite range hand gun is Springfield XD9 Subcompact. Never misses a beat and makes me shoot better than other handguns.

Favorite range gun over all is IMI UZI 9mm semi. Open iron sight carbine that will make the bullseye disappear at 100 yards. Absolutely FUN to shoot!! My wife loves to shoot except for the fact it weighs 9lbs. If I weren't retired, I'd buy her an IMI mini UZI!

This Ruger gets more time at the Plinking range. Bouncing around shotgun hulls, soda cans and chasing tennis balls down range is a ton of fun. So much nicer without hearing protection strapped to my skull or plugs jammed in my ears. Shooting environment really comes alive.

Are you poking at me, Cuca? Some think "fun." To others, a little too unnerving for civilized folks who enjoy the comfort provided by the watchful eye of a zealous range safety officer. That's the sort of thing that saps my spirit... makes me feel like a dog in a box.

More American shooters need to savor their freedom and hone their skills by getting outside, into the wilderness. Steel targets aren't cheap, but there's nobody who can't improvise by scrounging some soda cans, chunks of pipe, sheets of steel, and chunks of chain.

Favorite range gun? Probably the Ruger 41 mag Blackhawk. Close second is my Match Champion 357.

I like shooting everything? I shoot at an indoor range so there's not much variety, just paper. If I had access to a Hicock 45 type range I'd probably go with my Marlin 39A and pack a lunch :-)
