STI Marauder

Well with pressure from the squaw saying I deserve it...an early retirement gift or something. Probably sell off a couple dust collectors. Just in time for an upcoming 3 gun match in NM.

Congratulations Mike, I've never had the pleasure of seeing or handling any of STI's guns.

That's a bumpy looking gun. Looks like every accessory or modification available to the 1911 world made it on to that one.

Nice retirement gift!
STI is very popular at our bowling pin shoots; several members use them. I shot one once, nice shooter.
Have a great retirement and stay safe.

The STI Executive 5.0 is on my short list of "One day 1911's" right there with a Ed Brown Kobra Carry, a Les Baer Boss, and a Kimber Classic Carry Pro. Sweet dreams(-;

Fine looking pistol and I guess mostly made for competition and range work. STI claims it is easy to handle and carry? A little hard to believe. I was assuming it was .45acp but my search revealed it is only available in .9mm however it is a double stack making it have a magazine capable of 20+1. Weighing in at 41oz (unloaded I assume) .9mm recoil should not be a problem and should be very accurate considering it's suggested MSRP of $2,399.00.
No doubt it has a lot of nice features, looks like they would have added a threaded barrel for a suppressor.
Like Chuck I have never seen a STI in a store. Congrats on your retirement pistol.
Can't wait to hear and see your range report.
