Bought me a new CCW

A month ago I bought my wife a Kimber Mico Carry. We have been to a range twice with it plus I took my 38 and 45. We are in the process of getting our carry permits, trying to get used to our weapons before we sign up for a class and go to the range. I have been doing a little looking at different pistols online and a little research. I took my 38 in last week to have a rear sight blade put on it and the fellow had a pistol that I have been looking at online, a M & P Bodyguard 380. I like it...so I purchased one yesterday. It is what I need for what I am going to use it for. Now, can't wait to go back to the range again to see what it will do.

Congrats on the bodyguard, good little pistol. The ones I've shot theTrigger wasn't that good, but went bang everytime. And that's what counts.

I can't wait to get to a range and fire it. I know the trigger pull is a little different than the Kimber we have. I also noticed the clips are a little different...tension is not as great as our Kimber mags or it could just be me.

I was needing a pistol that I could conceal easy...thought I would go this route...good to use the same ammo. Always need a back up.....

I finally got my M & P Bodyguard 380 to a range yesterday. I am impressed with it. I fired some different brands of ammo through it...it loved all of them. I did not have a single misfire or hang up. Now time to clean it and get ready for another trip.

On my new one...have you ever done anything stupid? I was at the range, locked and loaded, pulled the trigger, ouch, somehow I had my left thumb in the way. The slide came back and got me...nothing that a walk back to my truck to clean up and put a bandaid on. I then thought, how in the world did I do that? I put about ten clips through it with no more injuries.
