Revolver Aficionados

If I wanna read about revolvers written by some of the world renown revolver "experts", who would they be? Revolver lovers, revolver fan boys, etc.

Anything written by Elmer Keith, especially "Sixguns". Elmer was the 'father' of the .44 Magnum and worked with S&W and Remington to bring it to fruition in 1955. He also worked on the early development of the .357 Mag.

Other writers of revolvers are but not limited to Jack Jordan, Skeeter Skelton, John Taffin, Bart Skelton and Mike Venturino come to mind. You can also read a bi-monthly column in "American Handgunner" dedicated to wheelguns. Excellent magazine by the way, and other than the monthly NRA mag, it's the only one I subscribe to anymore. It also features a regular handgun reloading column.

For S&W Revolvers

Gold standard for Smith & Wesson. EVERYTHING you ever wanted to know about S&W revolvers, history and other stuff. Standard Catalog of Smith and Wesson. Be sure to buy the most recent edition which is the "4th" (2016). It is already 4 years old, has over 500 pages. It is a little expensive but I sprung for the hard back edition and it's a coffee table book/decoration and nearby when I need it.
