The Suppressed Little Savage .22

This was a Gunbroker, OH NO what have I done? I placed the first opening and only bid on this rifle on a spur of the moment without doing any research. It was like a ten day auction so having time I did research and found my bid was only about 20 bucks under MSRP. I regretted bidding was hoping I would be outbid but that didn't happen.
Well when I opened the box it looked awesome, decided to give it a chance and at least shoot it. Well it passed, had it threaded for suppression, it's more accurate than me.

That’s a beautiful piece. The stock especially. Sometimes mistakes work out for the better.

There are worse “Oh No, what have I done situations”. At least this one is good looking.

I think we have all been in that situation, but realized that we have spent even more for guns that did NOT shoot as well...

It's a nice looking gun and if it shoots as well as you say I wouldn't worry about what you paid.

Like Chucks says, forget about the price of the firearm. It's been my experience with 22s that the price of the firearm is soon dwarfed by the cost of optics and mounts, triggers, accessories, suppressors and ongoing ammo costs. Enjoy.

Thanks guys. It has better looking wood than any rifle I have and a couple of the so-so wood stock rifles costs 3 times what the Savage did.
