First AR

Well I did it. After looking, researching, procrastinating and waiting for the prices to drop I just did it. I bought this weapon from an employee at one of the LGS near me. It has a 1:7 twist and a few little custom touches. Sorry for the poor picture, as you can easily see, I am no photographer!

Your first AR? Well shiver me timbers, matey, welcome to the scurvy world of suburban pirates, me bucko. I know that first "arrrrr" can be quite hard on the jaw. Try pronouncing it "arg." A tad easier for you 'lubbers to bend your whistle around.

On an unrelated note, nice rifle.

Rifle looks very nice. I have found the 223 is more picky when it comes to bullet weight for accuracy. If the previous owner didn't do it buy a variety of bullet weights, 50-74 grain, get some range time and see what it likes.

I love My AR's I am sure you will enjoy yours also. You will soon understand just how they could play an important role in SHTF situatations if the need ever arises.
What is the barrel length?
What brand of barrel? (usally stamped on Barrel)
Is it a Nato 5.56 ? (usally on barrel)
alsoWhat type of trigger, standard or otherwise?
If you do not mind me asking what did you pay for it?
