Question Inland Manufacturing 1911A1's

Just curious if anybody here has seen, bought or otherwise checked out the Inland Manufacturing's 1911A1 pistol? After reading the article in the current issue of NRA's American Rifleman magazine relative to the pistol, it seems to be an intriguing replica of the original 1911A1's. Street prices appear to be in the $680 range and the few reviews I've read are surprisingly positive.

BTW...I have an original Inland (GM Subsidiary at the time) M1 Carbine which is well made and functions pretty well.

Thoughts?

I've read a little about the new carbines, and they look nice. My original is an Inland from the late 40's. It's my favorite rifle; it's light and handy, pleasant to shoot, and the way the action clatters makes you know that you're shooting a complicated piece of machinery.
