WTB Holster Master Carry Pro

Friends, new to the Forum as I purchased my very first Kimber today. Purchased a Kimber Master Carry Pro. Dealer did not have any holsters in stock that fit well.

Any suggests for the proper holster for the fine weapon?

Many thanks for the help.

Larry

Read your intro post. Welcome and thanks for your service in both careers.

What type of holster are you seeking?

Lot of choices out there Larry. You looking for OWB or IWB? I am using OWB Galco. We have a member on the site that is making holster's and he does a great job. (I wish I could remember his member name) I know someone will help me out. He does great work. I think there is a holster thread and he is in that.

That would be Wolf1956 and his company is KG's Holsters, you can find him on Facebook. He makes beautiful holsters that are very reasonably priced.

Gents, thanks for all the replies, very helpful!

I will be using OWB style holster, not sure if I will have a retaining trap or not? I just need to make sure the fit is perfect so I don't get tons of wear on the nose.

I am so excited with the weapon, it's laying in front of me as I type and can't help myself from looking!

Also will need to purchase one extra magazine. Really can't think of much more I would need for it.

Feel free to chime in with any suggestions, I appreciate all the help I can get!

A lot of us are using the Kimber ProTac (I think that's what they are called the ones that come with three different base pads) magazines with great success.

Make sure you take it apart and clean/lube it before shooting it to get all the factory grease off that they ship it out in..
Grab 2 more mags cause you really don't want to be standing around loading when ya can be shooting...
