Interested In Silencers?

I assume the interest in silencers is getting louder(pun intended), maybe not here but in general. I saw this on another forum and this company was getting rave reviews about being a great company to deal with online and having good prices on silencers.
I don't know how to post the link, maybe one of my smart computer savy buddies will assist.

The whole notion is really intriguing. In my garage is a pretty substantial machine shop, by hobbyist standards. I've done a bit of experimentation building mufflers for engines, and I'm sure I could use the knowledge to put together some cool silencers. I don't do it, though, for fear of running afoul of the law. The legal maze seems a little to treacherous to navigate safely.

Well, that's why I put the heads up on here about this site I found. The best I can tell they have the tax stamp form and a form to get a "Trust" to register the silencer to instead of yourself all online and this company helps/does the process, I understand it still takes some time for all the red tape paperwork but they make it as painless as possible.

Silencers, Highly illegal in CA ! If any state allows them, I think it would be NM.

I have never heard a gun with a silencer. But I have read that they are not very "silent" anyway. The noise comes from the body of the gun, where the powder is ignited, not from the barrel
Please correct me if that is wrong. Why wood anyone but a criminal, or maybe a spy want one anyway?.

Most of us live in America! So just because I can that would be my biggest reason to buy a silencer!!

Wildbill, they are not like in the movies but they do reduce the noise level!
