Cheapest Magpul Magazines?

Anyone know who has the cheapest prices on Magpul AR15 30 round magazines? I found some Gen2 Magpul's on GunBroker for 10.99 each, any company have them cheaper than that?

Do you know if the Promag are good? How they compare to the Magpul?
Right now the only AR magazines I have are factory Bushmaster, I don't know much info about any brand of rifle magazines.

Primary Arm has DH aluminum mags with magpul followers for 6.99. I have run many of them without issue
Personally I would avoid ProMag with so many other better mags at good prices.

Wink MagPul Magazines

Right now, MidwayUSA has 30 round AR mags on sale for $12.49. Magpul PMAG M3 Mag AR-15 223 Remington

While the ProMags are going for cheaper, it all depends on the use you are planning to put them to. If it's for target shooting or competition where a malfunction means you just dropped 10 points, is one thing. If they are to be used for self defense, that is something different all together!! I only use and recommend MagPul.

The U.S. Army accepts personally owned MagPul magazines as a substitute standard for government issued sheet metal mags. Per the soldiers of the 1/5 Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division, MagPul mags DO NOT JAM as many of the issue mags are inclined to do. When my son was deployed to Iraq, in 2009, I sent him off with MagPul magazines. The standard Infantry combat load is 7 thirty round magazines (210 rounds). When my son went on patrol chasing high value intelligence targets in Baquba and Mosul, he carried 14 thirty round MagPul magazines (420 rounds). He was a self contained war!!! He never experience a single jam, even through rain, mud, snow, cold, heat and dust storms.

Thanks for keeping my son alive, MagPul!!! You guys rock!!!

Lineman, that's all the recommendation I need. At this point in time I would only be using the magazines for target practice however in a SHTF situation I would grab the AR and all the magazine's I could so I want them to be 100% reliable.

Is there a difference between the Gen2 and Gen3 besides the "cover" that is included with the Gen3? I see Gen2 mags are a little cheaper and I don't think I need a cover.

I agree the P mags are very good. The issues with the GI mag is many the way they are cared for. Issued out but when collected just thrown into big bins and shipped. Metal feed lips bend. Polymer will flex and spring back. I have many many GI mags many from the 60s. Though all mine have upgraded followers I think I have only had a few go bad in about 30 plus years.

Polymer AR mags of the past have always turned to crap till MAgpul. There are others now too. The Troy and lancers work well. To do one test I loaded 30 rounds in a Pmag without the dust cover that takes pressure off the feed lips. I left it on the dash of my work truck which is parked outside. It sat for about 18 months. Enough to go through two Arizona summers under glass. It shot all 30 no issue and remains I service.

A guy I work with who is ex-military suggested Lancer L5's. I bought 6 of them but haven't tried them yet. He said he liked them better than Magpul p-mags because the the top of the magazine and the follower are metal, the rest is polymer. I also have P-mags, no issues......

I found a guy on GunBroker that sells a lot of ten AR, magpul magazines. I got ten in flat dark earth for $109.00 which makes them $10.90 each. He was in Tennessee so I had to pay tax and shipping but I still saved a few dollars. I will post a pic later!

30 round FDE, Magpul
