Kimber 1911 Ambi Safety

Hello Everybody
I would like to install a ambi safety on my Pro Carry II. Thinking about ordering the Kimber one and I'm just wondering if it is a drop in kind of operation or some fitting may be required?

I've never liked them, but then I've never needed one, but I'm sure someone will come along that can answer you.

Well, to answer your question. Yes, it should be drop in. I bought the Kimber part from LGS, who happens to be where my gunsmith works. He even put it in for me took him less than 15 min. that included going up and down the stairs to his work shop.
I changed mine from extended to the short ambi.
