Micro Carry Parts

I haven't seen any posts regarding this and I know the Micro has been on the market for some time now so maybe it's just me, but I can't find anyplace to purchase replacement parts for this gun.

The manual says the recoil spring requires replaced every 500 rounds - has anybody here had to replace it yet? If so, where'd you get it at?

Kimber has already replaced mine for me once and I'm guessing this latest trip back to the shop will see another replacement, but I'm just curious where to get parts in general.

I'd suggest you first check the store on Kimbers website but their site is down for maintenance over the weekend. Another suggestion would be to call customer service but that's not open on the weekend. I checked Wolff's Gun Springs but they don't have a listing for the Micro Carry so all I can offer is to hang in there until Monday and call Customer service.

I have had a sig and a Micro side by side with the slide off, those two guns are close but not identical guns. I will not use any parts for my Micro that isn't made for it.

Our Kimber Micro manual recommends that you replace recoil spring every 1000 rounds but does state that if you use +P ammunition you may need to replace it more frequently to maintain proper function.
