Unicef

Why are we supporting such a foul organization??

The posted info is so "it is all for the children" but the organization is not that way. Dont ever support UNICEF.

I don't know why we support the U.N.? Stop payments and give them 6 months to get their organization out of the U.S.! They work against our best interests IMO!!

Never even looked into or considered supporting UNICEF.
But I do support Shriners hospital for children, Saint Jude's, Tunnels to Towers and IFCJ every month.

For starters, the question is fundamentally flawed. It's the ads that support the forum, not the forum that supports the ads.

Perhaps Admin will weigh-in on the specific ads, but my guess is that KT doesn't control the content/advertisers of the rotating banner ads. The ad space buyer typically controls that. That's how its been explained on other forums I frequent.

The Kimber Talk has no control over the advertising you see on the forum. It's the parent company VerticalScope Inc. that is responsible for what you see. They are based in Toronto Canada and own hundreds of forums.

This is roughly the explanation I was preparing to share as well. Ads are used to help us keep the lights on around here, and each user can choose to support these sites if they want to or simply ignore them.

Ads on this site are aimed to be relevant to what we hope will be the majority of users. If there is an ad that is malicious, we will always take action for your safety. Ads that you find uninteresting or don't want to support can just be scrolled passed, as we've tried to integrate them in a way that isn't too obstructive.
Hope to have clarified this for you.
