I always pick my theater seat like I do at the pub or restaurant. I sit in the back row of the movie theater in the corner nearest to the steps that lead to the exit. At the pub I always sit at the end of the bar that faces the entrance.

I did this long before carrying a gun back when crazy ex girlfriends or their boyfriends were wanting a chat with me.....

Funny you post this. We are in the theater right now waiting for eh the new Star Wars to start. I do the same. Always scout where the exits are and watch everyone that walks in and out

I don't go to movie theaters anymore. Last time I went was the for the first "Lord of the Rings" movie. People were so rude and loud we almost left half way through. After I bought my first big screen TV I said I had no use for theaters again.

Never been a fan of Star Wars movies. After I saw the first one I said, " I got on the bus for NASA and they took me to Disney World". Way over rated promos for selling lunch boxes and toys ...meh. I wouldn't go to the new one if it was free and free food was served by topless Playboy bunnies.

I don't like movie theaters or the people that frequent them. I clearly remember the last time I went to one. It was July 1990 and the movie I saw was "The Hunt For Red October" with Sean Connery.

I thought that we were buddies Chuck.....

We go maybe 4-5 times a year which is way down from years past. The movies seem to hit the open market much faster these days and I would personally like to rent to movie and watch it on my big screen at home. Not to mention I'm always paranoid when I sneak my 1 ltr bottle of iced tea/vodka in there thinking that the acne faced kid will bust me and throw me out like yesterday's garbage.

I have friends that go to the show, they're always complaining about the over priced food and the kids with their cellphones going off. I don't have to see a movie the day it comes out, I can wait. I find it more enjoyable to watch it in the quiet of my home with all the food, adult beverages I want and clean bathrooms I need.
