(FYI, Ammo Inc. also owns GunBroker)

Ammo, Inc. announced the donation of one-million rounds of ammunition to the Ukrainian Armed Forces fighting the Russian invasion.

The announcement came earlier this week.

During an interview of Friday’s ‘Jim and Rick Show,’ Fred Wagenhals, the CEO of Ammo, Inc., told the story of a conversation with NASCAR owner, Richard Childress.

“Richard called me and said ‘What can we do about that?’ I said, ‘We’ll donate some ammo.’ He said, ‘How much do you want to donate?’ I said, ‘How about half a million rounds?’ Richard said, ‘Let’s make it a million rounds.'”

As the war rages on in Ukraine, Wagenhals said the ammunition order has been filled and is waiting for one final step.

“We’ve already got the million rounds of ammo sitting on the ground in Europe. The next step is the proper paperwork to get it to the right people and the people in the Ukraine government that will put it out in the proper hands.” He added, “…right now the paperwork is being put together to do that.”

The company is building a 160,000-square-foot state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Manitowoc. It is scheduled to open this July.

Great Idea.
Did they send some garage pull cords with loops on the end to trigger the Ruskies too ?

In the middle of an ammo shortage, let's virtue signal and give a shitload of the most polular ammo away to the country that launders Biden and Hunter's bribe money.

These people are stone cold idiots.

Let's just hope that the ammo can get there before there is no more Ukranian Armed Forces. Let's also not forget that the corruption of the Ukranian oligarchs and the Bidens does not mean that the Ukranian people deserve to be massacred.
The people seem to be doing pretty good so far.

I'm all for the people fighting for their homes and freedom against any invading force, but these virtue signaling news bites by the same people who voted us into this mess are ridiculous.
Russian infantry seem to be armed with Mosin Nagant rifles and the troops seem untrained.
Russian vehicles are breaking down in their convoys.

Let's not forget that when Ukraine gave up it's nukes, it did so with the promise that Russia wouldn't invade, and the US stood to support the agreement. Russia was cool with not having nukes on its border aimed at them.

Ukraine then, dammed a river supplying 85% of the freshwater to the entire Cimean Peninsula, and began negotiations to join NATO and place nukes on Russias border.
That was just dumb, but the Ukrainian leaders are globalists, and sold their citizens out.

Also, thank Biden for his posturing.
After he shut down the Keystone pipeline, and shuttered most domestic oil production, almost 7% of the oil we now buy comes from the Russian pipeline. Just the threat of Russia withholding oil from the US has driven prices up even higher.

You are correct Charlie the citizens aren't to blame for whatever corruption may or may not exist. I don't know that the ammo will be able to get there in time to do much or if the available rifles are chambered for that round? It's something though. I have no doubt we'll be seeing an outpouring of various forms of support for the Ukrainians. Hopefully more from the US?

I just paid close to $4.00/gallon when I filled up but I'd be for boycotting the purchase of ANYTHING (oil included) from Russia.

After Russia annexed Crimea, a part of their country.
Yep.
Russia is a communist dictatorship ran by a mobster.
Putin is a power mad, corrupt, ex KGB strongman, who runs the country like a mob boss. They do have the largest Nuke arsenal on the planet.
If we learn from what we see, Russia isn't as strong as they like to appear.
Untrained Ukrainian citizen forces are winning alot of skirmishes.
US troops even at half speed would steamroll the Russians.
If we had stronger government, we could step in and negotiate a compromise even at this stage.
We need to either step in and negitiate peace, or back the he'll out of it altogether before nukes start flying.

Thirty hyrs or so ago I started asking -"what would happen if 1000 M1 Garands and 1000 rounds for each was donated to Cuba??"

I suspect youd better get up early some morning or the fight would be over before lunch.

The Ukrainians need the ammo more than I do more power to them
How about they use the $800 billion we have given them since they left the Soviet Union and buy their own damn ammo, and build their Military, or are we supposed to fund that too?

I would support arming Cubans today.
They hate commies and socialism as much as I do.
