I've been waiting for the Kimber Micro Carry forever, I noticed this morning that the Micro carry and the Sig P238 could almost be twins. My son and I hit the gun shops and started looking at .380's, I looked at a couple of Mustangs but thought they seemed to be bigger then needed and at $799.00 over priced. The P238 SAS was $100.00 cheaper, felt more solid and has a set of night sights. They make 22 versions of this gun in different colors and with different options. I don't normally do this but I'd suggest you at least take a look at them on their website. Check this link I have the Sig Sauer P238 SAS. Yes those are all the same model. The Colt Mustang 380.Looks great and I do like the Micro Carry but after Kimber waiting to release it,just makes me think of a Solo issue all over again.
Chuck you would love the SC Ultra Plus, I do mine....Classic Carry Pro (my dream gun) and or a Super Carry Ultra+
Yup, I figured I shoot cowboy revolvers I should have a good wheel gun to carry once in a while....thinkin about a shoulder holster for it.I love my Ruger SP101 and so will you.Great conceal weapon if that's what you want it to be sometime.
I've had a 3" SP101 for years, carried it quite a bit. Great guns!!Yup, I figured I shoot cowboy revolvers I should have a good wheel gun to carry once in a while....thinkin about a shoulder holster for it.
Put on the badger grips and the xs night sight.
Wish we could still get the Trausch grips but.....I reckon they are out of business
Is your SP101 a 3"? Mine performs better then that. I will confess though, most of my handguns are revolvers. From 7-10 yards,I can tack some nails.Beyond that,I hit 7-10 o'clock. This is definitely a close up encounter kind of gun..
It's a 2 1/4 and I was referring to 357's.With 38's I nail the bullseye more often than not.I'm guessing the recoil with 357's are a bit different. Is your SP101 a 3"? Mine performs better then that. I will confess though, most of my handguns are revolvers.
The 3" 101 is an amazingly accurate revolver. As revolvers go, it's quite possibly the perfect concealed carry gun. It's a 2 1/4 and I was referring to 357's.With 38's I nail the bullseye more often than not.I'm guessing the recoil with 357's are a bit different.
What's the recoil like on this one?Ruger SP101 in 357 3' barrel in February
