Look at a Smith & Wesson model 41. They are expensive but extremely accurate. I've got an older Browning Buckmark with a red dot sight that's no slouch either. To get that kind groups you'd be using a rest, right?[/QUOTE]
No. What I need is a .22 that is capable of it. I can get 2-4" groups with either Kimber .45 with a 7 round mag but I cannot keep that up all day. Too much wobble on my part. But I know the gun is capable so that's what I'm looking for in a target .22
With a rest, my current .22's can vary 4-6-8" groups which is more "plinking" than anything else and a waste of my time and ammo for what I want to do.
Thanks for the heads up on the Smith, I'll look into it.
