Good advise. Your life may depend on your ammo choice. You need to do your homework and test various brands and chose what fits your situation best. IMOWelcome to the forum from northern Illinois narsnarf. I use Win Ranger T 230 gr. Why, because of all the defense loads I tested in my Super Carry Pro that is the one that gave me the best performance. In all honesty we can't tell you which load is the best one for your gun, all we can do is suggest loads for you to try. You have to do your homework, test the various loads and determine for yourself which one works best in your gun.
I agree, I was hoping for different answers so I could buy different loads and have some fun at the range.Welcome to the forum from northern Illinois narsnarf. I use Win Ranger T 230 gr. I have about 300 rounds of Winchester and Remington, $25 dollars a box stuff, hopefully that's the stuff I want? Its a factory new gun.I agree with the idea of of test what is available and use what works best. Use a good brand of ball ammo to break the gun in, then buy a box each of a couple different defense style loads. Jacketed hollow points, as opposed to those rounds with lead protruding at the tip, offer the best probable functioning performance. But, let the function of your particular weapon dictate your choice.
I haven't seen those in awhile..Welcome to the site from Tennessee! I'm going old school and using either some of my old stock Winchester Silvertips or Black Talons.
