I saw a Solo last week 699.00 I put 155.00 down till this Monday (past).

Yesterday I was too busy at work and couldn't go. So today while waiting for lunch, I decided to trade my newest purchase Custom II towards the Solo.

I wanted the Solo a few weeks ago they didn't have so I got what I thought was my 1A choice the Custom II.

Now that I found my Solo at a great price the dilemma. I'm a simple man. I like brunettes and breakfast foods.

I'm a believer that you only have 2 hands. I don't need a bunch of guns. The more stuff you have the more you can lose. That type stuff.

So to trade or not to trade. I have decided to trade and the money saved goes towards 500 rounds of 124 grain ball ammo, 80 rounds on 147 JHP SD ammo, a IWB holster, and returning the 3 Wilson ETM magazines gets me 5 Solo mags.

I'm not starving and can afford to buy the Solo straight out. But the everything eles on top, it just adds up. So being the responsible money man I have become in my mature years, I have decided to get the lot and let the one go still pocketing money into the bank!

Sound sane or am I over thinking things? Hillary as the next prez is a semi lock right now, and I worry about my guns, at the same time all the reasons I listed above got me trading in.

You asked, and in my opinion you shouldn't trade away the Custom II. Buy the Solo outright.

As for your guns, you have to live with the decision you make so do what makes you comfortable. We as forum members can't make that decision for you.

The fact that you ask our opinion, knowing we're all gun-sluts, is very telling. You do not want to give up the Custom II in order to obtain the Solo. You know it in your heart.

But you have to do what you have to do.

Hillary is a scary wicked witch that will not have the racial PC protections of Mr. Odumbass. The crazies would come out of the woodwork to assault her. If she gets voted in, that may be the straw on the camels back that induces me to move off shore.

I'd say keep both. You can always sell the Custom later if you feel the need. If you trade now it's gone for good.

One of the few regrets of gun ownership was selling our Solo to buy the Ultra Carry TLE..
Even though it was a pain in my ass at first and then getting Kimber to fix it where it shot every single round we put in it, I miss that little guy.
Do what's right for you is all you can do..

How much less did you get on trade than what you just paid for the Carry? Not to be a negative nancy, but 699.00 isn't a screaming deal unless it came with the Crimson Trace Grips. I paid 629.99 brand new for the Solo STS.
