Duke, welcome from Kentucky. Bunch of us shoot Kimber Pro models. We know so much about them, you could say we're full of it. Knowledge that is. Or maybe just experience. Best advice is to read your owners manual. Good info about break in period, when the first spring needs changing, etc.

Duke, welcome to the site from Tennessee! We stay on ready. Good advice, read manual clean and lube before shooting.

Welcome to the forum from northern Illinois Duke, the pro size Kimbers are my favorite. Since you haven't received your pistol yet you can download a copy of the owners manual from Kimbers website. A majority of the problems people experience with new Kimbers are due to a failure to read and follow the instructions in the owners manual.

Thanks folks, I will try to contain myself and keep my Texas accent to a minimum! :D
No, hail no. We appreciate some good accent 'round here.

Welcome to the forum. I have a Kimber on order myself, so I understand your anticipation.

You typed that like a true New Yorker. welcome to the forum.
That could of come from a good friend of mine whose last name is Salamone. Guess where he's from? The Bronx was his home. He showed-up in the Houston area about 18 years ago. Almost have him saying ya'll. Thanks all.
