Just a retired engineer trying to do a little cattle raising and plinking in my free time. I wish someone had warned me retirement was going to involve so much work!
LOL, you're doing it all wrong. It is supposed to involve beer/bourbon, guns (not with beer/bourbon) and playing at your most fun activity. If them cows ain't fun, open the gate and set them free
Welcome to the forum from beautiful downtown Monroe, Georgia!!!
What kind of Kimber(s) do you have?? We need pictures!!!!
I'm a retired engineer also. Started with Southern Bell as a Lineman in 1973 (Where did I get that idea for a user name??). Went through divestiture and got a Bachelor of Professional Studies-Telecommunications degree while with (and paid for by) BellSouth, then finally retired, after a total of 40 years, as an Outside Plant Engineer with AT&T.
I was crushed to find out that they never did have a train for me to drive!!!! All I ever did was draw pictures with a computer CAD!! What kind of train did you drive when you were an engineer?? BTW, we do actually have a retired train engineer on the forum!!
As for those cows.......if they are that much trouble, shoot one (be sure to send us a range report) and we'll have a barbecue!! Turn the rest loose. Somebody will give them a good home!! Relax, shoot a lot and enjoy an occasional adult beverage or two when not shooting! If you get bored, there is always fishing!!!!
