So on Friday I will be picking up a new Bel Air .380, a gun I've wanted since they came out. I was wondering if it's possible to get any different baseplates to better match the unique finish? Bel Air blue or polished chrome would be nice and I think will look better than the straight black. However I can't seem to find any online despite what I thought would be a pretty popular mod. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm pretty familiar with eBay and use it daily but had no luck with my searches. Can you link to the seller? Do they come in chrome or belair blue?

I could put a link if I could remember who the seller was, been awhile. I did PM a Brother for help and should have an answer soon, hang tight.

I don't think any are Chrome but there may be a blue that may work, IDK. Just so you know the Blue pads are made of hard plastic.

That was my fear, but I'll take a look. I'm wondering if I could possibly get one custom made in polished steel or chrome or maybe even 3D printed. I was also wondering if could get Bel Air blue plastidip haha

I don't know if colored Micro pads are available. Because I had the Kimber Sapphire's that are 9mm, I picked the Blue bases to tell me at a glance it is a 9mm magazine and not a .45acp magazine. I put blue pads on every 9mm magazine I have.

I don't own a Micro or I would check the pads for fit on a Micro magazine.

You would have to send it out for chrome of course but if you want custom you pay for it. Just like customizing a car or motorcycle, if you can think of something different someone will make it.

Spray paint it with vinyl paint, the color of your choice.
Touch it up every few weeks when it starts looking scruffy.
