My wife and I are seriously considering becoming United States Concealed Carry Association members? Are any of you members or familiar with the association? I'd be curious to hear others experiences or opinions about it.

It appears to be an insurance company with a magazine kind of like AAA for concealed carry. Am I missing something else?

I've been a member for a while. I bought the magazine and tolerate their frequent emails. Compared to other companies, their carry insurance is reasonable.
To me, it's like anything else. Pick what you want/like and leave the rest.

I didn't buy the insurance I got the magazine subscription, it's a high quality magazine that's as good as any other gun magazine the difference is everything in it pertains to concealed carry.

Did that for a while. I grew tired of the "urgent" mailings and emails soliciting money. There are others I have joined and let expire along the way.

I have decided to focus on the NRA and support their causes. YMMV
