I'm the proud new owner of a Ultra Carry II and I'm curious as to what IWB holsters are being used for concealed carry. I plan on this being an EDC and would like to be able to tuck in my shirt if the occasion calls for it.

I'm new to holsters myself and needed one for my CCL class so I picked up a crossbreed. My Kimber is a little bigger then yours, it's a Super Carry Pro but with a good belt you soon forget that it's on you.

I have tried many, many holsters over the years and have found the Crossbreed style to be among the very best. I say style because there are several hybrid holsters on the market. I have a couple I would not recommend to anyone. However, My crossbreed mini tuck has been my summer carry unit for my LCP. I tried a couple others and would advise staying away from those that have screws retaining the kydex. They say they are for adjustment but the combination of the leather learning and stretching and the rubber washers getting weak makes for poor weapon retention.
If the crossbreed is a little high for you, try Foxx. Same general design with even more carry adjustment than the CB. I just bought one for my Ultra and the wife's Ruger LC9. I think they are every bit as good as the CB at about 2/3 the cost.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I currently have a Crossbreed for my XD but was thinking of something smaller for the Florida summers. I was looking at the Galco Summer Comfort or the Desantis Cozy Partner. Both have 2 belt loops for secure fit, but are smaller than the Hybrid types.

They both look good and I do like quality leather. If you go that way, you'll have to give a report.

I use a desantis mad max leather iwb for all my 1911's . I dont know if they make one for your ultra carry but the one i got is for a full size and i carry a commander 4.25" barreled 1911 in the same holster with no problem.

I'm a huge fan of Tucker Gunleather, and I have two of his Texas heritage holsters. My first was for a G19. Then I switched to a P99. I wear it every day. Fabulously comfortable. I have the velcro hooks.

IWB Holsters
I looked at the Tucker Gunleather and they remind me of Crossbreeds Holsters.... only more expensive. I like Crossbreeds so I'm sure I will like Tuckers. I just don't know if I want to spend the extra money.

Just ordered on of these in tan with the optional tan loops for my G23. I'm not sure I'll like an IWB so I didn't want to spend much on the holster itself.

I've carried concealed since it became legal in Ohio. I have a box full of "perfect" holsters. My advice is try them for a while to see if YOU like them and second, don't buy the cheapest thing you see because they just don't work.

I have one of these for quick, just going to run to the store, type situations.
I like it as it is quick to put on and take off. I did, however, turn the belt clip around so that it slides under the belt and the only thing that shows is the little hook peeking out under the belt.
