Hey, do you guys use these- Whiskey Stones? I got some for Christmas a couple of years ago, and I think they are terrific. Whisky Stones® Beverage Cubes | Set of 9

Never heard of them. Do you put your stones in the freezer to get them cold and then add to your bourbon so it doesn't get watered down? That didn't come out right. I don't mean your stones I meant the other ones.

Yes, exactly. They go in the freezer, and then keep your drink cold without diluting it.

I like to keep my beer in the beer fridge and then pour it into a room temperature glass. Dark beers are meant to be consumed at approx 43 degrees. The flavors come out at the warmer temp. Any beer you have to drink at 33* is probably not worth the effort.

I'm a straight out of the bottle beer drinker as close to near frozen as possible.
If I'm at a restaurant I will pour it into a frosty cold mug..

I learned to drink beer in glasses when I lived in England. Here, if I drink beer, it's out of a bottle. I don't drink much beer though.

I find Makers, while good, to be a little too light for my taste. I like Knob Creek and Jefferson Reserve. My favorite is scotch though, and that can be intense.

I'm gonna have to try some others. I don't like liquor that tastes like I'm just drinking alcohol. There needs to be some character, some body.

I have stainless cubes that I use and they were my choice over the soapstone cubes. They last much longer and they can be used in all beverages where the soapstone can be used in only a few.

I'm sorry Budweiser is not beer, it's something or other but it's definitely not beer. Jeff please take note I did say I was sorry.

I've seen the Whisky Stones before but I've never tried them, I only use enough ice in my bourbon to just cool it.

I like Knob Creek but have never tried Jefferson's Reserve.

As you guys know, I'm a big Makers Mark fan... Except when he steals my credit card at night and goes shopping.

Knob Creek is pretty good. There are quite a few good upper end bourbons out there.

I hate to act like a snob, but I have lost my taste for everything but Canadian Whiskey and I prefer Pendleton or Crown Reserve. I love the freezer cubes because they keep a good sipping whiskey cold without diluting it. Wow, it's not even noon in Utah and I'm seriously thinking of pouring myself a drink? You guys are a bad influence on a 53 year old child. Shame!!
