Yes, exactly. They go in the freezer, and then keep your drink cold without diluting it.Never heard of them. Do you put your stones in the freezer to get them cold and then add to your bourbon so it doesn't get watered down? That didn't come out right. I don't mean your stones I meant the other ones.
I'm a straight out of the bottle beer drinker as close to near frozen as possible.I like to keep my beer in the beer fridge and then pour it into a room temperature glass. Dark beers are meant to be consumed at approx 43 degrees. The flavors come out at the warmer temp. Any beer you have to drink at 33* is probably not worth the effort.
