My son who is in town visiting for a couple of days got restless after breakfast, he said get off the damn computer and lets go hit a couple of gun shops. I was telling him about the Kimber Micro Carry that Cl00686 posted pictures of and how much it looked like the Sig P238. The guy in the gun shop said hell would freeze over before they got a Micro Carry in stock but that they just got a shipment of P238's that they haven't put in the display case yet. He took us in back and he must of had 10 of them, well long story short, I gave up on the idea of a Micro Carry for now and bought a Sig P238 SAS. Here's a stock picture of the gun, I can't get mine until Tuesday, mandatory 3 day wait in Illinois. I'll post actual pictures when I get the gun.

Congratulations on you new pocket P238. I've had mine for over a year and it is a great little gun. Just a word of warning, they don't like flat nosed ammo. I get almost a 10% FTF using flat nosed ammo. Stopped using it and viola problem solved. Enjoy, my friend, and be safe.

Congrats Chuck! Our most recent purchase was a P938 which is the 9mm version of the P238. The wife really likes it and I want to shoot it a bit more and may decide I need one for myself. It's nicer to shoot with the extended magazine.

Thank you, I found some at ammunitiondepot.com but I'll check with Sig Talk. This isn't my first Sig, I also have a 1911 C3.

Congrats on the Sig sir. I really like the 2 Sigs I have. One is the big brother to yours, the P938. It's a great shooter and easy to maintain. I have found one thing to watch out for when cleaning. Here's a video that'll explain it better than me hunt'in and peck'in it out for you. I've never had this problem, but it's good to be aware of...

I can only wish, Illinois had a 3 day cooling off period, I have to wait until Tuesday 3-18 after 1:49 PM to pick it up. One time I went to pick up a gun and I forgot about the time and had to kill 45 minutes in the store before they would give it to me.

I'm glad we don't have that in Ohio. I can walk out the door with a new firearm in less then a half hour if the shop isn't super busy.
