OK, I admit it. I can get chatty and sometimes lose my focus. But most of the time the simple comment I want to make is just conversation, not intended to hijack a thread.

First day trying my new Alien Gear IWB holster. Lucky for me I have a few pairs of jeans the next size up.

At first I wasn't very happy with the feel, but as the day goes on, it's at least as comfortable as my BlackHawk Serpa and easier to conceal.

I have never been a fan of kytex against my skin. How do you like it?

First, I wear underwear and a t-shirt.

Second, the only kydex portion of the holster is the outer shell that is formed to the gun/model that you order. The part against my body is leather. I ordered the optional snap belt loops. I'm glad I did. The original metal clips have a pretty sharp edge, IMO.

What's taken you so long to get started? I'm 2 hours ahead of you.

I've got a Super Tuck Crossbreed holster and the only thing I don't like about Kydex is it's hard on Kimbers Kimpro finish.

If I ever start using a Kimber as my EDC I'll have to buy a all leather holster. I bought this for my Glock. Glocks don't mind mistreatment. Well, the owner doesn't mind, anyway.

I ordered a leather holster and belt from Brigade Gunleather back in October and with a little luck they might start working on my order next month and I'll get it in time for my birthday in May.

From the minute you guys started talking about her I remembered Jeff saying she reads these threads she just doesn't want to post. Then I'm thinking she has her own gun and she's a good shot, they better watch what they say.

The gun club / LGS I frequent regularly sells Kimbers for $200 less than MSRP.

They have a stainless and a blued Gold Combat, your choice for $2,049.

Sure feels good in your hand. If I were going into action I'd love to have one of these strapped to my chest. Too big for EDC, IMO.
