So I received the Swamp Fox Sentinel optic today and it fits the RMSc footprint fine but the factory cover plate screws are too short and the screws that came with the optic aren’t the proper diameter. It came with M3’ and M4’s but neither one of these are the same as the factory screws. Does anyone know what size these factory screws are? Thank you
I’m sure you figured this out by now. I too have the swampfox set up. The 6/32 are what you need for the optic/mako pairing. There are two lengths that will come I. The kit from swampfox. I opted for the shorter of the two. The longer ones when you put them in go too far IMO. They stick out below the cut/opening and I was afraid they would interfere with the mechanical/moving pieces.

Where did you get the sight cover? Mine did not come with one.

Amazon is your friend!

You'll need to cut out a window in the back of the cover to allow it so slide on without catching on the rear sight.

Thought I had something wrong with my new green dot optic (Swampfox Sentinel). Turns out that the problem is with my astigmatism, not the optic. If you have an astigmatism and think something is wrong with the dot in the optic (like I did), take a picture of the dot through the glass. If the dot in the picture is completely round and looks right, then the issue is possibly your eyes, again (like mine).

Yup looks oblong in some cases depends on the sight. I have the same problem. Practice enough with it and it won't matter.
