Found what would seem to be a good deal on a Kimber Ultra Aegis II. Considering rescuing the gun from a seller. Gun has 20 rounds through it.

Any feedback from the forum on the Ultra Aegis II?

Sounds like a potential "Good Deal" situation. If you have the cash, IMO, I'd say buy any Kimber that is available at a really good price, especially if the current owner just isn't enjoying or using the gun and wants to dispose of it. You could save hundreds of dollars.

Small, light. Thin grips. Front strap checkering. A light trigger. Rounded edges. From the Custom Shop....sounds like a no-brainier if it is less than the $1,300 MSRP. Did I mention beautiful?

I love mine. It is my EDC in the summer, when ever that comes to Ohio. It has been 100% reliable and easy to conceal. Go for it, you won't be disappointed.

So did you buy the Ultra Aegis or not? I don't own one but I think they look great and I would buy one. Maybe someday.

Personally, if I was wanting a Kimber in 9mm, I'd choose the Aegis over the Solo. But that's just my preference.

As I said in an earlier post it's on my wish list, I don't own a 9mm and if I saw one in a LGS tomorrow I'd buy it. It's just a matter of my finding one locally.

Love Mine. Looks like you're familiar with Kimbers and you should know how to properly break them in. I bought mine new as a summer carry. I've put about 600 down the pipe with a couple stove pipes early in the break in. Flawless since then. Nice trigger, sight pic, and well balanced. It just 'fits'.

My wife is being picky with her Sig P938 and seems to be hinting at running off with the UAII. If she does, guess I'll have to head out to acquire another summer carry. Damn!

Bottom line, If you what a good 9mm, this is a reliable tool. I have some pics in my profile. Let us know what you do.
