What years did they produce the custom compact? Its a series 1 gun.

I just had it refinished for my wife and put crimson trace grips on it.

I had one of those and sold it about 10 years ago. Have regretted it ever since. I could shoot it as well as any 1911 I've ever owned. Thanks for the pix. I believe mine was made in the late 80's or early 90's. Could be wrong.
