Hey Chuck... loaded question man I would not call myself a professional gunsmith but, I do play around with 1911's and other platforms! I would more refer to myself as a refinisher! I own my own Cerakote company and primarily do that kind of work... far more than anything else.

I am not up to speed on forum rules so I will not get into my cerakote company as I do not want break them within my first few posts to the board.

If I can talk about this without being a forum vendor, I would love to go into detail on what I do!

Anyone have any thoughts/know what the specifics are in regard to talking about work that a members company does?

As much as we've been hoping for a forum representative (mod/admin) to show themselves they continue to remain elusive. Maybe they feel that a bunch of old farts talking about their toys are harmless.

Seriously, I've been all over this forum and tried to read everything I can find on forum dos and don'ts and can't see where this is addressed so.... I would say try it, worse case I think a simple apology would fix everything.
