Actually none…lol I haven’t even took it to the range yet. Just saw it in my LGS and had to have it.How many rounds does it have through it? I don’t have any experience with DW, but I’ll say my first Kimber Ultra II was like that at first. I mean it hurt to rack it, but after 50 - 100 rounds it became way easier to rack the slide and no trouble since. Also, after my first break in period I disassembled, cleaned, and lubed it wet again. You might be surprised how easy the combination of the two will make it.
Thank you I tried cocking it first and works way better. And thanks I love the look of it. My LGS knew I wanted one and when he got it he texted me a pic and I had to have it. He says he could kick himself for not keeping it himself. I want a DW 10mm Valor also.Try cocking it first.
It probably just has a stiff recoil spring.
You could swap the spring with a lighter one, which will help.
Penny you have great taste in guns.
The DW stainless commander classic 45 is my all-time favorite Dan Wesson.
That's just a drop dead beautiful work of art.
I missed one by a few minutes iny LGS and have been kicking myself ever since.
Possibly but I’m trying to make sure I’m gripping and everything the same way every time. Don’t have any issues with any other pistol I have tried to rack.Let me ask, is it possible you're not racking the gun the same way every time? I had a lady I taught to shoot have the same problem, I taught her to pull back on the slide while pushing forward with the frame, and she had no problem. But sometimes she would hold the frame steady and pull back on the slide, and it was much more difficult for her.
I just have been sitting watching tv and racking it to try and melt things together. How many rounds does it have through it? Man I want that 10mm!!!Valor vBob's in .45 and 9mm. Old pic I've changed grips on them. View attachment 135587
I think I paid 1300 for my 45I’m still kicking myself for not buying one in 45 when they were selling for $1000. I really believe the Vigil was the best 1911 you could find for $1000. I don’t think they make them anymore.
Thank you! My LGS always gives me great dealsYou did really good for $1300
Ouch!! Been there , seen that movie.Mine does too, but not that good.
That's a damn good deal.
I could have snagged the DW classic for $1600. New gun.
I set it down to think about it, and the guy standing beside me bought it on the spot for $1800.😞
Lol.
