I noticed in a thread that Jeff mentioned GiGi had named her Ultra TLE "Loco." I haven't named my PCII, but I have been referring to my next purchase, a Royal II as "Her Majesty" which technically is a title, not a name.

Is GiGi the only one to have bestowed a name on their Kimber? If you were to name your gun, what name would you choose?

My Custom Crimson Carry II is named "Kim"

When the Super Carry Ultra HD arrives, she will be called Suci (Sue Key)

Edit: For the record, only my Kimbers get names.

Yeah, I like when somebody else names something, but naming a gun, a car or a *cough* body part never felt right to me. In fact, my first daughter didn't get a name until she was three days old. I kid you not. She was six weeks early and we hadn't yet settled on a name, so that's my excuse.

LOL. One of my uncles, deceased now, didn't find out until after he was grown than his birth certificate say Boy <lastname> That's what happens if you wait too long to name a kid and the country doctor has places to go.

My mother, born in 1930, learned in 1969 that her name wasn't anything like what she'd been called her entire life. She had to legally request a name change to have that fixed.
Again, country doctors ain't got time for dat.

I have also named my Savage Model 116 7mm Remington Magnum "The AT&T Special" because it will "Reach Out and Touch Someone"!!!!!:eek: Go Figure!!!;);)

I also have a DPMS Oracle that I call "Evil Black Rifle 2.0" because I sold my first AR (an M&P15 Sport) for 3 times what I paid for it after the Newtown shootings. If there was a fool out there willing to pay me $1850 for a $600 rifle, who am I to tell him no!! Then I picked up the DPMS!:eek::eek:

No names for mine, although I will have to stop calling the Super Carry Pro 'my Kimber' in a couple weeks. :D

With several Sigs in the house, we usu refer to them by brand & caliber, or sometimes just by owner & caliber.

The closest we came to naming a gun would be our Sig Mosquito before we found what ammo it likes - called it the GD .22 for awhile. :(
