Those of you who have an Ultra, have you installed VZ grips on it? Did they fit? VZ lists standard and compact sizes, but I didn't know if the Ultra was a true compact size.

I'm thinking an Eclipse Ultra II with VZ Aztec Black Desert grips would look good.

VZ makes excellent grips, I can highly recommend them. If there is any doubt in your mind about the fit call them instead of placing your order in line.

Thanks, Danny. I was hoping that was the case. If/when I get around to getting another .45 I'm currently leaning toward a Ultra size for EDC. The Eclipse and the Raptor are my two favorites, I'm liking that the Eclipse has a SS frame. Plus it would be a nice big brother look for Sweetie's Equinox.

Talk about both ends of the spectrum, a .380 and a .45 with the same aesthetics.

I want to order a set of VZ grips for my PCII that I'm having a Cerakote refinish done to it. Are the grips a rubberish feel{which I want}or are they a hardshell plastic/polymer??

The guns are beautiful by design, but the proper grips really make it personal and, in most cases, even nicer to look at.

I've very curious about the G10 material and feel. I'm thinking it wouldn't feel any more aggressive than some wood grips I've felt.

Danny, did you get the thumb scallop (whatever they call it) for the mag release? I like the way it brings out the two tone of the material on the grip.

Raasco grips are another good company to order from. I'd say the quality is about the same for both companies just more colors and styles to chose from.

Raasco seems to focus on colors, where VZ seems to focus on cut/design.

Just looked at the Raasco grips. Big selection, really liked some of the colors and styles. All the ones I looked at were on sale $42.95 instead of $65.00.

Danny the only thing that could make that gun look better in my mind would be if it has a rounded heel like on the Super Carry guns.

VZ describes them as having grippy/smooth texture designed for everyday concealed carry use made of G10 material,they have a little bite but not to much.

I think the color will match my Cerakote two tone finish really well and I like yours and the one's Insta-Gator posted...
