This is an excellent deal on some Howard Leight Electronic Impact Sport Muffs.

These are low profile and have excellent reviews. I just bought some.

This deal is $37.49 and free shipping. If you are looking for some electronic hearing protection, and who isn't, this is a great deal.

I've been thinking about upgrading to a pair of electronic muffs for the last couple of months but I've been reluctant to buy them because I don't know anything about them. You got me off the fence Gmountain, I just placed an order for a pair of these muffs, thanks. :D

I have no experience with electronic muffs and am looking forward to getting these. I have been using ear plugs with regular muffs at the indoor range and just plugs outdoors. In my younger years I did a lot of damage to my hearing and I'm trying to protect what I have left.

I have a pair of these, and they work great! they have a NRR22 rating! You can adjust the volume to what you like, plug your phone into them and listen to music while you are shooting. ( I do this when I'm cutting grass) Leave them turned on and they turn themself off.
The only thing better that I have found is made by Peltor Gold tone series at $340.00 per pair they have a NRR30 rating. I have used a pair of these one time not that much difference.......

The price this morning is up $4.50 to $41.99 but I still think it's a good deal at the new price.

Ordered Sunday evening, received Tuesday morning, I love Amazon Prime!

I can't wait to try them out at the range, I really like the ability to change the volume just playing with them in the house. It's almost like wearing a hearing aid. The price this morning is $51.83, I'm glad I jumped on them when they were $37.49.

Thanks again for posting the sale Gmountain.

I'm looking forward to trying them.

You should put them on and try clapping or releasing the slide on your gun and see if they go quiet.
Being the kid that I am you already know I did just that. I can't generate enough noise by clapping to activate them. But going in the opposite direction if I turn the TV way down and the muffs way up I can hear it clearly across the room. They would be great to wear on a deer stand to amplify the sounds around you.

Mine came today. They seem pretty nice. Have you tried them shooting yet?
Other then playing with them at home I haven't had a chance to try them out yet. I should be able to get out to the range anytime after next week Tuesday. All these holidays are interfering with my range time.

OK, I finally got a chance to hit the range this week and test out my new electronic muffs. Because of my ignorance in my youth I have managed to destroy a significant amount of my hearing so in an attempt to keep what I still have I've been using both plugs and muffs especially when shooting indoors. With my old muffs and plugs it was very difficult to hear normal conversation let alone understand it but I'm happy to report that I can now hear and understand what my shooting buddies are saying while wearing my plugs and new electronic muffs.

Thanks again Gmountain, I owe you one.

Just ordered one on Amazon for $42.95 plus free shipping via Prime.

I'll give these to my sweetie so she can enjoy her shooting class better.
