Retirement. What is that? I have 27 years in and the Teamsters just jacked up the age requirement from 57 to 62 with rumors of it going up to 65.I'm only 50 so I guess I'll be working for awhile longer. The good news is,I will be able to afford more Kimbers for years to come.Happy Friday gents.

I retired the first time at the ripe old age of 39. Then, after a second career, I retired again at the ancient age of 59. I still get up and go to work three or four days a week. But the work is easy and the hours are short. Maybe I'll try again when I'm 69.

Unless you have a boat-load of money, retirement sucks. There's only so much piddling you can do to entertain yourself. YMMV

Soon as the weather improves the golf clubs will come out again and we will plan some more scuba trips.

Maybe retirement doesn't suck as much as winter does.

I disagree, I don't have a boat load of money and I lead a full active life. I play with my hot rod and fish in the summer, I belong to a gun club, a fitness center and I hunt. I have 5 young grandchildren and 2 dogs that can run me happily ragged. In fact if something suddenly happened and I had to get a job I wouldn't have time for it. I think my signature says it all.
