Just got a new Custom Aegis II and the front sight is off center. My point of impact is always left and the front sight is slightly to the right of center.
How do you move the sight in the dovetail without doing damage?
I'm guessing it should be left to a gunsmith or someone with the proper tools.
The rear sight has a small Allen screw that appears like would allow for adjustment on that end but then both sights would be off center.
I'd rather make the adjustment to the front sight.

Better to do at a range. Use a brass punch and light small hammer. If you have calipers you can calculate how much movement you need. Move the front sight opposite the direction of where you want the point of impact to be. Move rear sights in the same direction you want the POI to be. Tap lightly. A little movement goes a long way.

A little brass transfer may appear on the sight but wipes clean with gun oil.
