The last set of grips from my crazy grip-buying spree just came in. Some of you know that my wife said "Why don't you just get a new gun?"....but what she doesn't know is that new gun will be a $2,000 Royal II! Oh, well, live and learn right?

So, these last grips are the ebony grips from Raasco. With the thumb notch, a feature I have decided I like a lot. I have to say, they look pretty dang good. Nice finish. I'll put them on when I get home and then take a pic. But here is a pic of the grips themselves. (I'm picturing a young Brook Sheilds saying "Nothing comes between me and my Kimber Pro Carry II except my Raasco ebony grips"....and she's naked, of course.) You probably have to be over 50 to remember the jeans ad I'm referencing....never mind.

Yeah, I love the look of the burl grips a bought a while back and I like the feel of wood, but with stainless, I really like black grips. So with these I get wood and black color. I can't wait to put them on tonight. I have black and stainless screws, so I'll have to see which I like best.

Raasco does make some very nice grips. They should look great on your Stainless Pro.

I like the ebony grips! They just moved into the #2 slot on my list of favorite grips. I'm still a sucker for ivory! Ever since seeing photos of General George S. Patton's ivory gripped Single Action Army and Smith and Wesson Registered .357 Magnum (Model 27) pistols, nothing else tops the list!!! Uber Cool!!!
