Just joined this forum,just got this GoldMatch at the Lakeland gun show this past weekend.Seller called it a Gen1 1911--I hadn't heard Kimbers had different Gens is this correct?

Gen1, Series I, etc. started on the internet in reference to has a Swartz safety system or it doesn’t. I’ve not known Kimber to use that in advertising. Kimber uses Roman numeral ”II” after the model name indicating it has Swartz safety. Example Gold Match II.
