Mods- we need a new forum to talk about non Kimber guns. Anyway-

Well, its here. It's a model 15 357 magnum, heavy shroud, vent rib. I picked it up for a song. A dealer friend of mine won an auction and got hundreds of guns from the local police agency. This gun is in fantastic shape- probably only used in one holdup. It's an older one made in Monson.

Congratulation, that's a fine gun and no I don't think your wife has enough jewelery so you keep buying those quality firearms.

Not to be a grumpy Gus, but just for consideration. If we have too much "other" firearms stuff, won't we be turning Kimber Talk into National Gun Forum? (same people own both, I believe) There's some nice people there, but the topics are all over the board. Y'all know I enjoy the occasional "other" threads, but my $0.02 votes to keep Kimber Talk primarily about Kimber products.

I have to agree with Gary on this, we are Kimber Talk. We have a sub forum for off topic discussions be it other firearms or anything else you want to talk about. That includes a second floor we recently installed there to hold his chatting thread.

Maybe the description f the forum should be changed, so instead of saying talk about things other than firearms, it says talk about things other than Kimbers.

I believe we have a "Broke down and bought a SIG" thread and to this date it had 163 posts with about 2000 + views..
It's definitely isn't a Kimber but generates buzzz.
There has been a ton of Sig{aka}p238 chatter lately so what's the difference if GMountain wants a new thread option???

Creating or renaming sub forums is way above my super moderators power, it would take someone at an administrators level to do that.
