Looking for advise on how to remove the grip screws. I have a CDP (with Crimson Trace grips) but I'm pretty sure all the Solo's are the same.

Are you asking what tool to use? What size tool? The photo on Kimber America looks like a hex screw. However, we have learned Kimber uses both hex screws and torx screws.

I don't have a Solo but the Allen head (hex) screws on a Kimber 1911's grip are 3/32".

I have CT grips also, and used an allen wrench to remove them for a detailed cleaning. I can't tell you if they're metric or 'Merican sized. Oh, and I just have to say, righty tighty, lefty loosey.

No problem, it was a shot in the dark because like I said I don't own a Solo.
