[Navy Kimber]

New here. Love the forum. Just purchased a new Kimber 45 Ultra Carry II. Put a new two hole trigger, front and real Trijicon sights and some rosewood Navy grips on it. Also have the CT Laser grips. Taking the concealed carry permit class Sat. What are some worth while mods for this gun?

Welcome from Las Vegas, If the gun is new I would not do any modifications, at least till the warranty runs out. Do the standard break in to see if the gun runs to your satifaction, if it's good do your thing! Kimber will void your warranty for some things.......

Welcome to the forum from northern Illinois Navy Kimber. Sburick is right on the modifications, I hope you kept your original parts. Kimber's warranty is about bullet proof, ya, it's that good but... There's always a but, if you send your gun in for warranty work they will return your gun to stock and charge you for the new parts required to do that. Every time I replace a stock part on one of my Kimbers I always place the original part in a ziploc bag with a note stating which gun it came from. If the gun has to be returned to Kimber for any reason the stock parts go back in before it's sent off.

All I did to my Custom Stainless II was add the Crimson Trace Laser Grips. I have put thousands of rounds through my Kimber without a single malfunction. It has a fantastic trigger and it can literally shoot better than I can!!! The only mod that I would make would be to install a set of Trijicon Night Sights.
