I am active duty Coast Guard Machinery tech and Boarding Officer. joined the site Honestly to find out about the Kimber brand I now own my second kimber so I figured its time... As for being a Colt guy, a philosopher (don't ask me which one, I had to repeat that class) once said "as long as you are in the realm opinion, you can't be wrong." (Which is total BS. I said that to the professor, hence the bad grade.) So, if you love your Colts, it doesn't matter what we think. Even if we say horrible things about you privately.

Actually, as 1911 lovers, it's hard not to have affection for Colts, but we do love our Kimbers. Welcome from Ky.

Colt's 1911 is okay!! John Browning created the finest fighting pistol that there ever has been. Many manufacturers have tried to improve on his genius. Some have!! We just happen to be fond of Kimbers!!!
