New to the forum. Have wanted a .45 since 1976, bought a raptor II and Sunday will be the first day at the range. Any hints?

Make sure web of hand is below where the slide will comeback.
Take two slow breaths.
Take one more and let about half of the air. Out of you lungs.
Watch the FRONT site.
Gently squeeze trigger.

Take your time between shots.

Awesome day at the range. The Raptor was so much better than I expected. Smooth, acurate, controllable. All rounds on target and no failures. WHen I picked it up, the shop said since they were so tight, they sometimes took some time to break in..might have a FTF or FTL......not this one... Simply incredible.. Already looking forward to my next time.
