I think most of us here would agree that the Raptor is one of the nicest looking guns that Kimber makes. I’ve pondered on buying one several times, and I’m getting the itch again! Maybe I’m just needing some friendly encouragement , but thought it would be nice to compile all the Raptor pics on the forum into one thread! So how bout it guys and gals? Yes, but it is hard to justify another $500+ for a few different serrations & grips for a gun that won't shoot any
better than the standard ultra carry.

The Raptor has better sights imo, they cost more, checkering or a texture like the Raptor will run you about $250 plus a refinishing job. These things can help you shoot better. The grips cost more and then there is the other cosmetic cost.
I think it's worth $500 more and the fact that it’s been a long running model in the Kimber lineup that hasn’t been discontinued means others think it’s worth it too.
