Hey Sketter, in your signature statement, did you intend to have, "I ANT as good as I once was......" or did you intend to use "AIN'T"? Just curious!!!!:confused::confused:

Spelling Ain't Everything!!

You're right Instra-Gator i'm going to change it back like it was, like it says i ANT as good as i once was!!!!!!!!!!!
As long as you know what it says, it's okay by me. I know what you meant! Look at it this way, it creates interest!!

Actually, I have my own variation of that saying that I used to tell my boss when I was a Senior (as in old--at 45) Lineman, before I became an Engineer: I'M AIN'T AS GOOD AS I ONCE WAS, BUT I'M AS GOOD AS I'M EVER GOING TO BE!!!:eek::D

All you Georgia boys I've got a question for you, do they allow open carry in your state because I have and idea for you.

I've seen and read about those Texas BBQ's where guys polish up their .45's, put on a clean pair of jeans, kick the cow patties off their boots, strap on their guns and spend the afternoon eating BBQ and talking and shooting guns. I've always dreamed of doing something like that but living in the north here it's never going to happen. But since you guys seem to live close enough and if they allow open carry I'm sure one of you has a backyard and a grill maybe you could do it.

Chuck66 has been talking to us about a Kimber day at River Bend Gun Club.

Don't think they have BBQ facilities, but you never know.

I hear St. Louis has some pretty good BBQ. If our annual meeting is there I believe they are a gun friendly, bbq eating, party kind of place.

Spent some time in St. Louis once for business. Mostly I remember the whispering arch in the train station and laying in the grass at the park around the arch. As the sun went down the arch began to glow. It was pretty cool.

Oh, geez, there I go with the hijack again.

They actually do have some areas to cook and plenty of space to gather. I've been talking to them about what I can set up. Technically only allowed to bring 2 guests so I have to set it up as an event. Ill figure it out and give you guys some option dates. Problem is you can't holster there.

I love Chuck43's idea!!!
