Just found this forum and decided to join in. Have a Kimber Custom Stainless II with a Crimson Trace Laser Grip. This is the best pistol I have ever owned. It can shoot better than I can!!

I've been competitive shooting and hunting for over 40 years. Not looking to quit any time soon!!

Please thank your son for his service to the country. My son is a sergeant with the 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team based at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. He was previously stationed at Ft Wainwright, Fairbanks, Alaska for four years and was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan.

What county in Florida will you son be flying for? I used to live in Broward and then Palm Beach County.

Small world. My son was at Wainwright and deployed to Iraq from there. PCS to Hunter AAF, then deployed to Afghanistan.

We've got some good boys.


But honestly, the way this administration is going, I'm glad he's out now. Hope all goes well for your son.

Welcome to the forum! I just recently purchased a Kimber Stainless II in 45 myself. Your picture looks to be without the CT grips. I like the look of mine with it's green grips but am contemplating getting the CT grips for mine as well. I think the rosewood ones might look the best but the camo ones might look good too. I really like the ones on the Master Carry Custom but they have the rounded heel so they wouldn't work with mine. Do you have a picture of yours wearing the CT grips? Here is a picture of mine currently.
